The dream
Man.
I was sitting in front of my computer this evening taking a course on an important but somewhat esoteric topic, when my oldest son sat down next to me and began telling me about a project he's been working on regarding early humans.
I got to spend an hour with him, asking questions, testing assumptions, and then picking out some books to read together about the subject and I am over the moon. I love seeing him think and confront complexity.
These are the moments I most enjoyed with my dad, and to be entering a phase where this happens is the greatest gift life can offer.
